About Us ~ and How your puppy was brought into this world!
Where to start~ Also please take the time to visit the INFO page of each of our breeds to learn more and why we love the dogs we have.

ߦ IF you have had the chance to come visit our Farm/Kennel you have seen that we are a Working Farm (not a fancy show place)
and you were greeted by several friendly happy canines of various ages.
We do allow scheduled visits to meet the puppies and their parents and grandparents ~ Although for the health and safety of our puppies we do not allow you visit the newborns and soon to deliver moms. We can not allow you to bring your dog or Extended family & Friends.
We knew decades ago that if we were going to raise dogs that we would not "throw away" our old dogs.
Meaning just because they were no longer able to work stock or hunt or raise babies would we: send them away, Place in a shelter/ send to a rescue or Put down ~~~ They would be allowed to live out all of their years here on the farm with us and when the time came have a proper burial, marker and be deeply missed and mourned & remembered.
When you visit here you will meet several dogs that are over the age of 12 and some over the age of 15!
"Why would we make them leave their home and family?" That is just not what families to loved ones do ~~ !
(Granted as any accountant will tell you that isn't a smart or good business decision!) ~ BUT we are not about making money and getting rich from selling puppies.
We offer a service that in the beginning was unheard of but thank goodness it has spread to other breeders~~~~ When you buy a puppy from us it is being sold as a Pet /Family companion/ Or dog with a job, we guarantee you that we will take the dog back at anytime in its lifetime ~ "Lifetime Forever Home Guarantee". We realize sometimes life throws you a hard ball and we would never want one of our pups/dogs to end up on craigslist, in a shelter or abandoned. We have made a special trip to Calif when a owner passed away to pick up a adult dog ~(that we placed in a new home a few months later), We have picked up a 5 year old dog in the far North East when he didn't get along with their new child~ Now he's living on a ranch in AR., We took back a older pup that's owner was diagnosis with Cancer ~ Trained/ neutered him and he now lives in CT , We picked up and kept a 2 year old dog for OVER 6 months until the owner could get back on their feet after life gave them a hard ball~ now they are together again!!! :)
We feed Top of the line dog foods from day one ~ NutriSource &/or Purina Pro Plan is how our puppies are started. When they leave us they will come with that same food as well as what we recommend next which in most causes is Purina Pro Plan.
All of our adults are given a daily boost from Breeders edge~ whether its a working dog/ Certified porch pooch or a Momma with babies Or "Mr Studly" there is one for each of them.
Our dogs do have large kennels Where they are required to stay if we are not here with them per state regulations {Fortunately we are here on the farm 95% of the time} Each area has house inside a permanent covered area as well as a shade cloth covered area, however they are out and about unless its a day that we have large equipment working or have events elsewhere. The dog houses are provided with what they need climate related. We keep our dogs in their natural coats ( no shaving) and enjoy spending the time with them to comb them out and bathing/ massage them as they so love! Puppies are born inside with a Bed, carpet and tile areas and soon learn to go outside using a dogie door ~ which makes them easy to house train!
Our adult dogs are on Heartworm & external parasite Preventatives/ They are kept current on Vaccines & Complete Vet Exams They have their teeth cleaned by a DVM as needed. (more often then most pet owners do)
ALL of our Sires (Daddy's) have had their OFA Xrays done~Hips/Elbows/ Legg Calve Perthes as well as Patella's/Bite/Heart also Certified. We do BAER testing as well. We have the complete breed specific panel Genetic testing done as well.
ANYTIME we have a new dog come to us we have a complete Breed specific genetic testing panel done thru a Genetics Lab.
As well as testing for Heartworm & other parasitic blood diseases /Brucellosis/ fecal etc... AND we have the dog evaluated by a Dog Training /Handler. THIS is more then 90% of the breeders across the country do and we do it to ensure we are giving you the best family member we can. We are more then happy to send copies of Certificate with your new puppy.
I am with each and everyone of our girls when they are being mated and when they Whelp {babies arrive} no matter what time/day it is~ I have missed more family events then I care to mention due to someone "being due /having babies! "
Everyone of our dogs have tried one of the following jobs/events: Working stock/ Agility/ Rally/ Conformation. We have several that have earned a Championship or Title thru many different Venues, we don't brag about it because we not selling show/competition dogs ~~we are adding family members!
We have a room full of awards that glisten and sparkle (AND collect dust) However~ my biggest reward is hearing from the families how loved their puppy is ~ I thank All of You that keep in touch and the many of you that have returned to add a additional puppy to your family. {And the ones that have Four and Five~~~ Your love for your dogs is Awesome!!!}
We keep all of our dogs current on Vaccines ~ I even Vaccinate all the dogs on the a joining farms and homes.
($ out of MY pocket just to be sure our neighborhood is healthy).
Our puppies are started out on Parvo Vaccine and Bordetella Vaccine Next they will have a 5-Way vaccine before they leave us at 9 weeks of age. They are examined by a DVM at around 5-6 weeks of age and at that time they are micro-chipped so you can see that they are the puppy that has had the DVM exams (AND to help make sure if your puppy /dog should ever stray from you that is it can find its way back ASAP)
We continue with 5-way or 9-way Vaccines until 20 weeks of age if they are still here. We give routine de-wormings as DVM Recommended and then give a dose of the top of the line "Drontal Plus" {which most pet owners don't use because of the high cost} ~ We want the best for your new family member. All puppies make another trip to the DVM just before it leaves us to get a health certificate done. Our puppies are sold with a Health Guarantee posted on website and given in writing. *We do require that all puppies be spayed/neutered as they will live a longer healthier life with this done.
We are so lucky to have the DVM in our area that we do. They are available for Emergencies & House/Farm calls 24/7/365
We have two offices with Three Veterinarians that we work closely with and we are inspected by them, as well as the state Kennel Licensing Inspectors. We send all the Veterinary records with the puppy when you take ownership as well as a puppy info packet. We attend several continuing education seminars around the country each year to stay up to date on Vet Care/ Genetic testing/ Diets etc...
Depending on weather~ our puppies are allowed to run around outside of a pen~ play with toys & our grandchildren~ chase leaves/ chew on sticks/ (sometimes play in the pond and chase frogs!) and tumble and roll with other puppies and dogs. They will have had at least a couple of trips in the car to the Vet office. We have extra kids/adults around interacting with the puppies as well. We believe in a socially well rounded puppy and give them every chance we can to explore new things on the farm. When a puppy is here past 16-20 weeks of age it will most likely have had some leash and harness training and some crate training as well.
We are so Fortunate that we are able to teach all of our pups to use a Dogie Door about the time they turn 3-4 weeks of age!
Then once they are weaned we start on crate training at night. Not only to help you as a new owner but to help the puppy get use to a crate in a familiar environment so as not to stress when they leave here AND DID I MENTION~~
~~ WE PERSONALLY DELIVER ~~~ Yep from our arms to yours~~~ after years of shipping thru the airlines we decided we wanted to meet our new extended families in person~~~ IT HAS BEEN GREAT! I believe this is a easier transition for the puppy. As well as you (and us) have the right to decide "I don't want this puppy" or { us~ we don't want to sell you this puppy!}
We have only had one person not take the puppy (It was a surprise for the wife~)~~ SURPRISE- "She didn't want a puppy"~ Thank goodness we hadn't sent it to them on a plane!
AND YES we do reserve the right to NO SALE one of our puppies & have decided a couple of times over the years that we weren't comfortable with the way a sale was going and have cancelled and refunded. Unfortunately people become very angry and lash out rather then ask WHY we choose not to place one of our puppies with them.
We DO NOT do internet sales~~ Yes we use the internet to advertise our pups, BUT you will have to SPEAK with me so we can do our best to get you the right over all fit for a lifetime. We will not sell a pup just because it is the color you want. Puppies have unique personalities and traits same as individual humans and & Families. Please be honest and up front on your lifestyle and home life so we can make the best connection. This is the only family member you get to pick and its a life long commitment so we all want the right fit!!
LAST~~~ Should it matter how many dogs we have or raise a year as long as they are given proper (above average) care and love (their entire Natural Life) if we have good loving Families adding them to their families?
We may always have puppies on our site~~~ But I always have a waiting list as well!
AND Why should it matter how or where we or anyone advertises? In the beginning EVERYONE ran ads in newspapers all over the US and now we use the internet doesn't mean someone isn't good because they sold thru a internet advertising. EVERY buyer will have to SPEAK with me prior to a deposit is taken, You will meet personally with us to Accept (or Decline) the puppy {Its not like we are shipping you a puppy with no options if you don't want what arrives~! }
Price range? WHO should decide WHAT I CHARGE for my Puppies?
$100.00 to one family is as $1,000.00 is to another ---SO if we ask "Only?" $500.00 for a puppy~~
Who's business is it other then mine and the buyers? I believe that just because you can't spend $2,500.00 for a pet doesn't mean you shouldn't have a Healthy Happy Guaranteed Puppy of your dreams!

You also need to ask yourself if there are any invisible fence installation near me. And by installing that protection I promise that it will guarantee your safety and happiness for your pets.

Register your micro chips when your get your puppy! This week we have had two pups one in MS and one in NJ be found and the micro chip is still in MY name. Both these families were lucky and we got the dogs back home very soon!
